Water is life. The original French settlers knew that, which is how our city got it’s name and how it grew so quickly as a western outpost. Fast forward a few hundred years and you’ll find people walking, biking, and running along The Detroit International Riverfront is one of the top-rated riverfronts in the world, which is impressive considering it hasn’t even completed construction yet. Over the last several years, the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy has worked tirelessly to transform industrial land into a 5 ½ mile span along the Detroit River. Come see the new, the old, and the bold!
